The best Porto tips, bars, restaurants and more

Tascö

It’s a super popular and hyped location, with a personal and laid back service. It’s fashionable, with a retro decoration, wooden panels and food served in individual pots instead of in the traditional tray. The food is unmistakably Portuguese, where codfish fritters with tomato an bean rice are the stars of the menu. With a central location, near the galleries in Porto’s downtown, it’s perfect to catch some late afternoon liveliness. The owners are a couple of cool “tripeiros”, with no shame that discuss politics and football with strongly held opinions and without being afraid of offending anyone, just the best! I love coming here and it’s comfortable accessible for all price ranges.
